to those...... incredible women out there who care willingly, joyfully, who multi-task efficiently, and let go bravely, mentor carefully, laugh heartily, listen intently, love fiercely, who settle squabbles peacefully, run errands constantly, rock their babes tenderly, wipe noses endlessly, shuttle service tirelessly, hug tightly, they worry deeply, and question themselves daily, but they mother incredibly, to the sisterhood of women out there we call mom gratefully. happy mother's day

to those......

incredible women out there

who care willingly,

joyfully,

who multi-task efficiently,
and let go bravely,
mentor carefully,
laugh heartily,
listen intently,
love fiercely,
who settle squabbles peacefully,
run errands constantly,
rock their babes tenderly,
wipe noses endlessly,
shuttle service tirelessly,
hug tightly,
they worry deeply,
and question themselves daily,
but they mother incredibly,
to
the sisterhood of women out there
we call mom

gratefully.

happy mother's day

don't judge the gentle; their gentleness is stronger than your fears and angers.  don't judge those who have lost their gentleness; you haven't lived their lives.  in all people, hope for the gentleness to return and see gentleness for the beauty that it is. ...c. JoyBell c.

every year, i somehow manage to find a ginormous field of these beautiful orange cosmos flowers. it has become a ritual for me. and every year i wonder if i should plant them myself rather than rely on the randomness of finding them. but really? i like the uncertainty of not planting them...trusting that the universe will guide me to them to try and capture their beauty year after year. i never get tired of them.

it's barely August and the earth is full of atmosphere signaling that change is on its way. perhaps we wouldn't be so scared of change if it didn't make us feel so vulnerable. but that uncomfortable feeling of vulnerability is signaling that we are growing and that's a good thing.

they're not stages of grief,  they're feelings of grief.    they are unpredictable.  they're twisty and prickly and they don't feel good.  no one knows what you're experiencing, but you.  don't be afraid.......tell someone safe how you feel and let them give you the gift of listening and loving you through it.

do you ever wonder if while you're sitting on this side of the rainbow wishing you were on the other side of the rainbow where things were much more perfect and happier, that someone on the other side of the rainbow were sitting over there wishing they were right where you are now because where you are is more perfect and happier than where they are? find something that is perfect and happy about where you are right now.

change emphasizes what is happening TO us while transition emphasizes opportunity for growth within.”  ...w. bridges the only thing constant is change and we work so hard as humans to keep it from happening.  maybe through those times of flux, we can cling to the knowledge that our growth through those transitions is the one thing we can control.  we can choose to take a reflective posture and look inward, feel deeply and work towards resolution.  through resolution brings peace.
